Outside the room on the exterior of the building is a hand held, <br />ABC rated, dry - chemical fire extinguisher suitable for the hazards in the work area. <br />2.3 Ironclad Shop/Warehouse <br />Fire hazards in this building consist of: <br />Storage of daily use quantities of flammable or combustible materials is in designated <br />areas or approved fire cabinets. The oil tank storage area is enclosed with two -hour <br />rated firewalls and protected by sprinklers. Heat is supplied for the truck shop during <br />cold months by four used oil fire space heaters. Hose stations located between service <br />bays and in the warehouse provide fire protection for the maintenance work area and the <br />warehouse. Water is supplied by a diesel driven firewater pump and a jockey pump <br />from a water tank located north of the bulk oil storage room of the Ironclad <br />Shop/Warehouse. In addition, hand held, ABC rated, dry - chemical fire extinguishers are <br />provided at strategic locations convenient to the building occupants and suitable for the <br />hazards in the work area. Two foam fire suppression systems are in the Ironclad <br />Shop/Warehouse. One is located east of the bulk oil storage room and one is located <br />between the oil bays in the old truck shop area. <br />Fire Plan <br />• Covered tank storage of fresh oils, used oil, and antifreeze.
