Fire hazards in the <br />Truck Shop building consist of: <br />• Covered tank storage of fresh oils, used oil, and antifreeze. Tank contents and <br />volumes are listed in Table 2. <br />• Daily use quantities of (55 gallons or less) of oxygen, acetylene, solvent, paint <br />and grease normal for a maintenance shop. <br />• Normal office type hazards (paper, coffee pot, and electrical devices) <br />TABLE 2: <br />TRUCK SHOP <br />TANK CONTENTS AND CAPACITIES <br />Storage of daily use quantities of flammable or combustible materials is in designated <br />areas or approved fire cabinets. The oil tank storage area is enclosed with two -hour <br />rated firewalls and protected by sprinklers. Heat is supplied for the truck shop during <br />cold months by used oil fired space heaters. Water is supplied to this area from the <br />water tank located in the Ironclad Shop/Warehouse.
