road alignment. While the haul road was never completed, it is included for
completeness purposes since the alignment is referenced on both Exhibit 12-1
(Revision 9, dated 6/99) and Exhibit 12-2 (Revision 5, dated 8/99).
Sediment and Water Control Facilities Plan
There are no proposed changes to either existing sediment pond design or
configuration.
Small Area Exemptions
There are not proposed changes to any of the approved small area exemptions.
Diversion Ditches
The only existing diversion ditch that will be modified is Ditch 5. The
location of Ditch 5 is shown on Exhibit 12-2 (Revision 5, dated 8/99).
SEDCAD+ was used to design the ditch. The design is summarized in Table 12-
1.1 Ditch and Culvert Summary, the design demonstration is found in
Attachment 12-1A, Ditch and Culvert Design.
TABLE 12-1.1
Ditch and Culvert Summary
DITCHES
Ditch Flow slope Bottom Side Velocity Flow Freeboard Total Liner
(cfs) (~) Width Slope (fps) Depth (ft) Ditch Type
(ft) (H:1V) (ft) Depth
(ft)
Ditch 5 0.82 9.0 v 2 9.06 0.32 0.3 0.62 gravel
There only is one change to the existing culverts. 'Culvert LFC-9 will be
replaced with a longer pipe. The existing pipe is 28 feet long while the
replacement pipe will be 72 feet long. The diameter will remain 36 inches.
Culvert LFC-5, which is show on Exhibit 12-2 (Revision 5, dated 8/99) is
proposed. Because this culvert is proposed, and has not been constructed,
the design is not included in Attachment 12-1A.
TR-07 2 Revised 06/06
