2.05.6
' (3) Any bald or golden eagle, or nest there-
of; of which that person becomes aware and which was not previ-
ously reported to the Division by that person.
(ii) The applicant's revegetation plan is designed
to enhance the wildlife resources in the area. The postmining
land use is rangeland and wildlife habitat. The rangeland and
wildlife habitat developed in accordance with the revegetation
plan will be more productive than the rangeland and wildlife
habitat that currently exists because sagebrush and rabbit brush
will be excluded from the vegetation community so the grasses
will be able to flourish.
(iiil (A) None present, refer to Exhibit 5 & 10.
(B) The Northern Bald eagle uses this area
to hunt. The Division of Wildlife's, wildlife statement, indi-
cates that the mining operation's impact on this species will be
none to slight. Considering the many square miles of rangeland
which surround the area, the mining operation should not have a
measurable impact on this species.
(C) No critical habitat will be impacted by
the mining operation.
Ibl No specific facilities will be constructed to
• enhance fish and wildlife resources. No power lines will be
constructed in the area. No fences are planned along roadways to
guide locally important wildlife to roadway underpasses. No
fences will be required around ponds because no ponds will con-
tain hazardous concentrations of toxic-forming materials.
• 2.05-32 May 1991
