11 <br />1 the minimal inspection by MSHAU or OSHA. No one on the <br />2 project was wearing hard hats. <br />3 Probably my primary objection to John <br />4 Nelsen was a conversation we had about the neighboring <br />5 mine, Energy Fuel, and he referred to that in poultry <br />6 excrement terms. He referred to the president of the <br />7 firm, John Adams, as Little Johnny Adams, and I think <br />8 that is totally inappropriate for the division's <br />9 employee to be coming down and discussing with me. <br />10 Turns out that John Nelsen was prior a <br />11 geologist, I believe, with Energy Fuel and had been <br />12 fired. Obviously bitter. <br />13 At any rate, to go back to your <br />14 concerns. Once we found out the price of the project <br />15 and who was going to be the supervisor, we thought we <br />16 had probably an agreement with Dave that a lesser <br />17 alignment would be satisfactory, save $15,000, spend it <br />18 on other parts of the project and that John Nelsen <br />19 would not have to be the supervisor. <br />20 Sometime after that, suddenly the tables <br />21 were switched and there was a real reversal, and we <br />22 were told in my last conversation with Dave Berry that <br />23 Nelsen was going to be the supervisor. It seems that <br />24 Dave had really gotten in trouble with his own <br />25 supervisor, and he said that he had really gotten <br />
