Adding additional growth <br />by seeding would only increase competition and would likely hinder the native growth recovery. In <br />this situation, it is usually better to leave the site alone and let it recover naturally rather than fiddle <br />with it trying to "improve" on a condition that is already quite sufficient. <br />The following seed mixtures, derived from the permitted plan, will be used on those areas that <br />will be seeded. <br />Either of these two mixtures can be used on the bench as well as east or north facing slopes <br />above the Mining Limit: <br />Menzer Quarry Corrective Action Amendment Exhibit E October 2011 Page 5 <br />
