the southeast % of Section 19, approximately 4,100 feet, terminating at the proposed
facility in the northwest % of Section 20. This proposed alignment is approximately 4
miles long.
An alternate route being considered would proceed from the County Road 91 and
Yellow Creek crossing northerly 5,200 feet along the existing BLM waterline, thence
northeasterly 2,000 feet to the proposed facility.
The pipeline will be located in the existing rights-of-way of County Road 24 and the
proposed plant access road. The alternate gas line route would require an easement
to cross the BLM and Marathon Oil lands.
• communications cable — Telephone and other communications service will be
provided to the phase one experimental pilot plant facilities. The proposed
communications cable will tie-in to the existing communications cable right-of-way of
County Road 24 on the west % corner of Section 29; thence northwesterly, in
Section 30 approximately 2,800 feet, thence northeasterly through the southeast '/4
of Section 19, approximately 4,100 feet, terminating at the proposed facility in the
northwest % of Section 20. This proposed alignment is approximately 1.4 miles long
and is located within the proposed plant access road right-of-way in Township 1
South, Range 98 West in Rio Blanco County. Alternatively, the communications
cable may be buried along the alternate natural gas pipeline route.
• power line — The proposed power line routing description is based on an alignment
provided by the White River Electric Association, Inc. and lies entirely in Township 1
South, Range 98 West in Rio Blanco County. The power line right-of-way will be
obtained from BLM by White River Electric.
The proposed centerline of the overhead power service to the Lease area begins at
a tie-in to the existing 25 kv distribution line located at the approximate center of the
southwest % of Section 25; thence northwesterly, approximately 4,300 feet, to the
southern line of Section 23; thence, approximately 11,300 feet, west along the south
line of Sections 23, 22 and 21; thence northwesterly, approximately 3,000 feet, to the
center line of Section 21; thence west, approximately 7,000 feet, along the centerline
of Sections 21 and 20 to the west line of Section 20 and the Lease area. This
proposed centerline alignment is approximately 4.8 miles long.
G:\LM\M78545.002\Reclamation\Reclamexh.DOC D-7
