a) construction site boundaries;
RESPONSE: Refer to the following drawings that have been generated for the Bulldog
Underground Exploration Project: '
➢ Figure 1, Site Plan Overview (attached);
➢ Figure 2, Portal Bench and Surface Admin Support Facility Site Layout (attached);
➢ Figure 1a, Stormwater BMP's at the Bulldog Project (attached);
➢ Water handling Schematic (see Plan of Operations Amendment — 2011)
➢ Holding Pond #1 (see Plan of Operations Amendment - 2011)
➢ Holding Pond #2 (see Plan of Operations Amendment — 2011)
b) all areas of ground surface disturbance;
RESPONSE: Refer to response to Part I.C.2 (a) and Table 1, Estimated Project Disturbance.
c) areas of cut and fill;
RESPONSE: Cut and fill activity will be required for the Portal bench and access road. However,
RGS will keep the cut to a minimum, just cutting enough to construct a working area. Most of the
portal bench and access road will be constructed from development waste excavated during the
digging of the decline. A complete description of this activity is presented in the Plan of
Operations Amendment (2011).
d) areas used for storage of building materials, equipment, soil, or waste;
RESPONSE: Building materials, supplies, and spare parts will be stored in the "laydown Area" as
shown on Figure 2, Portal Bench and Surface Admin Support Facility Site Layout and in the
warehouse. These materials will not contain any substances that are considered "hazardous ".
All petroleum products will be contained in the maintenance shop or the fuel farm. Equipment will
be parked on the portal bench or on the laydown area. Growth medium will be windrowed along
the property boundary or along the crest of the site. The growth material will be stabilized with
seed and mulch until reclaimed at reclamation. Dumpsters will be on site for solid waste disposal.
Solid waste will be hauled to the Mineral County landfill by contractors.
e) locations of dedicated asphalt or concrete batch plants;
RESPONSE: No asphalt or concrete batch plants will be required for the planned exploration.
f) locations of all structural BMPs;
RESPONSE: The location of all planned structural BMP's are shown on Figure 1a, Stormwater
BMP's at the Bulldog Project. Wattles, sediment fences, berms, straw bales or other structures
will be placed down - gradient of all structures and facilities. Interim reclamation will be performed
on the out - slopes of the portal bench and access road and on stockpiled growth medium.
g) locations of non - structural BMPs as applicable: and,
RESPONSE: RGS will work to minimize vegetation and soils disturbance as part of the exploration
work. There is no specific non - structural BMPs that can be located on a map.
h) locations of springs, streams, wetlands and other surface waters.
112 East 12 Street P.O.
