Erickson <br />Response to September 28, 2011 Cazier Memorandum <br />October 11, 2011 <br />Page 7 <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 7.d. <br />Attachment 6.5.6 contains preliminary data and analysis. Wildcat will confirm <br />the capacity of the bridge by implementing the work plan set forth supra in Response to <br />Adequacy Issue Nos. 7.a. and 7.c., and will submit any necessary bridge improvement <br />design to DRMS for review and approval through the Technical Revision or Amendment <br />process. <br />Adequacy Issue No. 8. <br />The applicant has committed to resolving this adequacy issue. However, they have not <br />committed to addressing this adequacy issue in a TR or AM. Please provide a written <br />commitment to resolve this adequacy issue via the TR or AM process. The revised text <br />for this adequacy issue presented in the subject response letter shall be included in the <br />revised Geotechnical Stability Exhibit, Attachment 6.5.4. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 8. <br />Wildcat will add a paragraph to the end of the "Blasting Impacts" section at <br />Page 11 of Exhibit 6.5, as follows: "Based upon seismographic and noise data collected, <br />Wildcat will perform engineering and geologic evaluations to develop conclusions <br />regarding the following: 1) the effects of blasting on adjacent structures; and, 2) design <br />for any modifications to the proposed blasting activities to avoid or mitigate the effects <br />of blasting on adjacent structures. Wildcat will prepare a technical memorandum <br />summarizing the result of this work, and will submit any revised blasting activity design <br />to DRMS, as necessary, through the Technical Revision or Amendment process." <br />Wildcat will also insert this language at the end of the letter included as Attachment <br />6.5.4. <br />Adequacy Issue No. 9. <br />The Applicant has proposed to resolve this adequacy issue in a follow -up Technical <br />Revision (TR) or Amendment (AM), to be submitted subsequent to the approval and <br />issuance of CN -01.
