C- 2010 -088 Fruita Loadout
4tt, Preliminary Adequacy Review (MLT)
24 -Aug -2011
Map 15 Haul Road Plan and Profile
116h. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
116i. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Map 16 Loadout Facilities
116j. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Map 17 Coal Handling Facilities Detail Map
116k. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Map 19 Previously Disturbed Areas
116E Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
NEW ITEMS — AuLyust 2011
PAP Text
A. Page 2.05 -16 describes the Light Use Roads. In the second paragraph, "from" is misspelled
"form ", and I believe the road runs approximately 1,000 feet within the UP right -of -way.
Please have CAM correct these two items.
B. On page 2.05 -17, first paragraph, it might help clarify the intent to add the words, "from the
east" following "Reed Wash ".
C. On page 2.05 -30, the paragraph identifier (2)(c) should be shifted to the left margin.
D. On page 2.05 -31, the last paragraph states that reclaimed areas will be compacted to at least
95% of the MDD. For reclaimed areas, less compaction is probably better — the Division
suggests that 90 %, and +/- 4% of optimum moisture would suffice.
E. On page 2.05 -49, in the last sentence of the 2` paragraph of (a): consider adding the phrase
"of the bridge and rail line is complete" after the word, "construction."
F. The Tavistock Right of Entry Agreement dated April 19, 2011 should be removed from
Exhibit 1.
G. In Exhibit 2, please clarify whether the Cultural Resource Survey Form for the Tavistock
parcel should be removed or retained in the PAP.
H. In Exhibit 7, the explanatory text for sample TLO -4 refers to the construction material
stockpile area. The intended verbiage would have been "borrow" rather than "stockpile ".
However, now that the Tavistock parcel has been removed from the application, perhaps the
wording here should be revised altogether.
