Reclamation Plan
Exhibit E
portal is buried under 5 feet or more of cover and graded with slopes equal to or less than the natural
slopes which are estimated to be equal to or less than 1(H) to 1(V). Where possible, slopes will be graded
to approximate original contour. The post mine topography and reclamation will blend in with the exist-
ing topography and vegetation. See:
• Figure F -1: May Day No. 1, Affected Acreage 3.5 acres;
• Figure F -1A: May Day No. 1 East, Affected Acreage 0.5 acres;
• Figure F -2: May Day No. 2, Affected Acreage 3.3 acres;
• Figure F -3: May Day No. 3, Affected Acreage 3.2 acres;
• Figure F -4: Chief Tunnel, Affected Acreage 0.3 acres;
• Figure F -5: Idaho Affected Area, Affected Acreage 8.2 acres;
• Figure F -6: New Access Road, Affected Acreage 1.8 acres;
• Figure F -6: Base of Operation, Affected Acreage 1.0 acres;
• La Plata Bridge: Affected Acreages 0.1 acres; and,
• Pre - Existing Roads: Affected Acreage 9.5 acres.
Total: 31.4 acres
In addition the following final reclamation activities will be undertaken:
• Augmentation Pipeline Corridor (0.4 acres) will be reclaimed as presented on Figure F -4;
• La Plata River Bridge will remain after mining (0.1 acres);
• The base of operation (1.0 acre staging area) reclamation plan is presented with the Road Design
drawings at Attachment D -1 and Figure C3.10;
• The Idaho mill site (3.1 acres) will be reclaimed as presented on Figure F -4;
• The Idaho Pay Day mill site (5.1 acres) will be reclaimed as presented on Figure F -4;
• Preexisting Roads (9.5 acres) will remain;
• The New Access Road (1.8 acres) reclamation plan is presented with the road design drawings at
Attachment D -1.
Pre - existing structures (bridges, fences, historical buildings) and roads will not be reclaimed. However
the stormwater structures will be repaired or restored to approximate design specifications.
Within the augmentation pond at the Idaho Operational Area prior to reclamation, fresh water will be dis-
charged to an adjacent drainage channel or spray irrigated on the ground in accordance with CDPHE dis-
charge permit and DWR requirements. Upon closure, the augmentation ponds will be backfilled, and
graded to blend with the existing topography. Slopes will be equal to or less than 2(H):1(V). Standard
revegetation method will then be implemented (Section 6.4.5(2)(d)).
After clean up and earthmoving, final revegetation will be conducted as identified in Section 6.4.5(2)(d)
and (f).
Wildcat Mining Corporation
112d Permit — May Day Idaho Mine Complex
Revised August, 2011
Exhibit E — Rule 6.4.5
DEN 97,615,521v1 9 -26 -11
Page 4 of 21
