ROBINSON,P.G.
J. ERICH RALIBER,P.E.
Reclamation of the May Day Idaho Mine Complex will result in all affected lands being suitably restored
to a post- mining land state of recreational land use. This Reclamation Plan addresses closure details in-
cluding facilities removal, final grading (including drainage), topsoil, soil amendments (fertilizer), and
revegetation (seed mix and transplant of trees, shrubs, etc.). Reclamation activities have been scoped to
minimize disturbance to the hydrologic balance, prevent off -site impacts, and provide a stable configura-
tion consistent with the proposed recreational future land use. Storm water diversion and sediment con-
trol structures will installed and remain in place until backfilled or graded disturbed areas are stable and
revegetated.
This plan also addresses the timing of reclamation activities which will commence at the completion of
mining and milling operations or the appropriate phases of each operation. Wildcat Mining Corporation
(Wildcat) will perform interim reclamation, and final reclamation at these key project milestones as ex-
plained below in this plan.
Reclamation activities will be conducted on Wildcat's affected lands and will be consistent in goals and
methods across the affected lands due to the general homogeneity of the site (soils and vegetation) and
single future land use. The plans and methods for mine planning as it relates to reclamation, stabilization
techniques, final grading, soil preparation, and revegetation are defined in the following sections.
Wildcat will reclaim the entire 31.4 acres of affected lands to the pre- mining condition of recreational
land use, with historic mining structures (pre -1950) and pre- existing roads illustrated in Exhibit D remain-
ing. Wildcat has selected two types of reclamation to achieve this goal: interim reclamation, and final
reclamation. As explained below, these types of reclamation have been chosen to address reclamation
needs present at each phase of mining activities and each type of facility or affected land at the Complex.
Wildcat chose this type of reclamation to be consistent with the majority of the surrounding landscape
which is San Juan National Forest land. Wildcat's primary reclamation goal is uniform across the site: to
Wildcat Mining Corporation
May Day Idaho Mine Complex — 112d Permit Application
5555 DTC Parkway Suite A -4000, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111
Phone: (303) 832 -76641 Fax: (303) 832 -7469
Revised: August 2011
