Erickson <br />Response to August 22, 2011 Cazier Memorandum <br />September 9, 2011 <br />Page 3 <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 3. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 3.a. <br />Wildcat will intercept the upgradient drainage at May Day No. 1 which is in <br />excess of 2 acres. See Attachment 3 (Attachment D -2, Figure D -2). The CDOT Type <br />C inlet to be installed is based on Standard Plan No. M- 604 -10. The inlet will be <br />installed in the drainage bottom located above the May Day No. 1 adit. Drainage ditches <br />will not be constructed parallel to the highwall because of the steep slope and limited <br />drainage above the considered structure. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 3.b. <br />Wildcat is submitting a revised Attachment D -2, Figure D -2, Stormwater Control <br />Plan, modifying the grading plan to demonstrate the south diversion ditch will flow <br />down hill. See Attachment 3. <br />Attachment D -3, Little Deadwood Gulch May Day No. 2 Drainage Control <br />Adequacy Issue No. 4. <br />Page 2, Management. The second bullet attempts to ensure DRMS direct supervision <br />will be provided. This statement shall be revised to something similar to that stated in <br />Attachment D -4, "Coordinate schedules with DRMS, and offer its representatives the <br />opportunity to inspect construction work activities ". <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 4. <br />Wildcat will modify the second bullet under the Management section on Page 2 <br />of Attachment D -3 as follows: <br />• Coordinate schedules with DRMS, and offer its representatives the <br />opportunity to inspect construction work activities; <br />Adequacy Issue No. 5. <br />Page 3, Construction.
