Specifically, Wildcat will perform the
following:
o Drill two test borings to 20 feet or refusal at the abutments of the
bridge. Our engineer /geologist will log the borings and obtain
relatively undisturbed, bulk samples of the materials encountered.
Samples will be inspected to confirm field classifications and for
laboratory testing;
o Selected samples will be transported for laboratory testing
including moisture content, dry density, strength, classification,
grain -size distribution, and compaction tests;
o Perform engineering and geologic evaluations to develop
conclusions and recommendations regarding the following:
• Stability of bridge and abutments;
GREENBERG TRAURIG, LLP • ATTORNEYS AT LAW • WWW.GTLAW.COM
• Design for bridge improvements, as necessary,
accommodate load bearing necessary for proposed mining
operations.
o Prepare a technical memorandum summarizing the results of the
work described above.
o Submit design for bridge improvements to DRMS, as necessary,
pursuant to the Technical Revision or Amendment process.
o After obtaining DRMS approval through the Technical Revision
or Amendment process, proceed with remainder of work plan.
Wildcat is including a new Attachment 6.5.6 as Attachment 6 to this response.
Adequacy Issue No. 8.
Page 10, Blasting Impacts.
