Erickson <br />Response to August 22, 2011 Hays Memorandum <br />September 9, 2011 <br />Page 7 <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 9. <br />Wildcat will clarify that it will develop and provide to DRMS the proposed <br />carrying load for the reconstructed access road and justification in accordance with La <br />Plata County requirements by adding the following sub - bullets under the fourth bullet on <br />Page 5: <br />• Proposed carrying load for the reconstructed access road; and, <br />• Justification for the proposed carrying load for the reconstructed access road <br />in accordance with La Plata County requirements. <br />Adequacy Issue No. 10. <br />In the Construction Summary and Scheduling section of the Work Plan the Applicant <br />states material from the inside road cuts will be removed using a dozer. Will blasting be <br />required to remove the bedrock in the inside cut sections of the road? If so, please <br />provide a blasting plan for Division review. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 10. <br />Blasting is not contemplated, however if blasting is required as part of any <br />revised design, a blasting plan will be submitted to the Division for review through the <br />Technical Revision or Amendment process, as appropriate. See supra Response to <br />Adequacy Issue No. 4.a. <br />Adequacy Issue No. 11. <br />In the Construction Summary and Scheduling section of the Work Plan the Applicant <br />states to stabilize the previously constructed out slope, material from the top of the fill to <br />an area approximately 20 feet (Attachment A — Sheet C3.10) from the base of the fill <br />will be sequentially removed in 10 foot or less benches to form the final slope grade. <br />Please clarify the following items pertaining to this statement: <br />a. Attachment A — Sheet 3.10 does not illustrate the out slope fill material <br />removal method. Please provide cross - sections and conceptual drawings <br />to depict the proposed fill material removal process and retaining <br />structure construction. <br />b.
