Growth Medium (Topsoil) Stockpiles — The majority of the salvaged topsoil and vegetative debris
that will be used as a growth medium during reclamation has been placed in two stockpiles. One
stockpile is adjacent to the new decline portal and the other is located just south of Montrose
County Y1 approximately 120 feet southwest of the new decline portal. Both stockpiles will be
bounded at the toe by silt fence and seeded with the site's approved seed mix to control erosion
until reclamation.
5. Waste Rock Stockpiles — There will be two waste rock stockpiles under the revised Mining Plan.
The Primary Dump will have a maximum footprint of 1.754 acres and a final maximum volume
of 25,000 cubic yards. The secondary or Upper Dump will have a maximum footprint of 0.167
acres with a final maximum volume of 1,670 cubic yards. The Primary Dump will be configured
to maximum side slopes of 3H:1 V during waste rock material placement over the life of the mine.
Rimrock Exploration & Development Page 2 of 4
