Prince Albert Mine 110(d) Permit Application Exhibit C <br />C (b) Aboveground Operations <br />Mining related activities that impact the affected area of the Prince Albert Mine and that may impact <br />offsite areas in the vicinity of the mine site are listed below and identified on the attached Exhibit E, <br />Figure E.1 "Mine Plan Site. Map ". Surface activities that are related to the handling and storage of toxic, <br />or potentially toxic, materials are identified below as "EPP ", discussed in detail in the Exhibit U <br />"Environmental Protection Plan ", and also depicted on the Exhibit E, Figure E.1 "Mine Plan Site Map" <br />and Exhibit U -1 "Overall Plan." <br />• Mine Site Access <br />• Decline Portal (Underground Access) <br />• Surface Equipment and Structures <br />• Ventilation Borehole(s) <br />• Uranium Ore Storage and Handling (EPP) <br />• Uranium Ore Transportation (EPP) <br />Mine Waste Rock Storage and Handling (EPP) <br />• Storm Water Management (EPP) <br />C (b.1) Prince Albert Mine Site Access <br />The Prince Albert Mine site is accessed by using an existing upgraded two -track road that intersects with <br />Montrose County Road U16. Turn north onto the mine access road and travel approximately 0.2 miles to <br />the mine site. Note that access to the mine site will be restricted by a locked gate at the intersection of <br />Road U16 and the mine access road when mine personnel are not present at the mine site. <br />C (b.2) Start Date and Occupancy <br />Mining operations have taken place at the Prince Albert Mine site under Prospect NOI P- 2005 -021 and <br />the approval of this permit application and the associated BLM Plan of Operations will be a continuation <br />of that activity. The proposed start date for continued mining activity is on or before September 1, 2011, <br />depending upon the receipt of approval for this permit application and the USBLM Plan of Operations. <br />The Prince Albert Mine will normally operate for 10 to 12 hours per day on one or more days during a <br />standard calendar week. Alternatively, the mine may operate two 10 -hour per day work shifts during any <br />day of a seven -day week. There are currently no plans for a continuous (24 -hour per day) presence on <br />site. The mining operation may operate on an intermittent basis, but there are no plans for an extended <br />period (six month, or longer) of site inactivity. <br />Rimrock Exploration & Development Page 4 of 39 <br />
