The excavation of the declined tunnel resulted
in an open cut in the ground surface that is approximately 90 feet in length by 10 feet in width and up 15
feet deep at the deepest end. The perimeter of this cut is fenced for safety and the underground mine
entrance, or portal, is gated for safety and to prevent unauthorized entry to the underground workings.
C (b.4) Surface Structures and Equipment
Support structures and equipment used in the surface operations of Prince Albert Mine will be portable
and stored on the surface. This equipment is typical in the support of a small mining operation. These
structures and equipment may include the items listed in Table C.2 "Surface Equipment / Structures."
Table C.2 — Surface Equipment / Structures
Equipment
Number of Pieces
Rental/ Contracted
Equipment
Number of Pieces
25T Highway Haul Trucks
1 -3
Rimrock Exploration & Development Page 5 of 39
