Essentially the
underground mining operation will be expanded to fully develop and produce the uranium mineral reserve
that was demonstrated as a minable deposit under the prospecting and bulk sample operation. Activity
will include both an expansion of the underground excavations for development drifting and ore
production stoping, and an expansion of the surface disturbances associated with temporary uranium ore
storage, permanent sub -ore (or waste) material stockpiles, temporary equipment maintenance and
materials storage, and temporary and permanent surface water control features. The permitted affected
area currently planned under the expanded mining operation will increase from the existing maximum of
2.04 acres in the Prospect NOI to 8.294 acres in this 110(d) permit application (see Table C.1 "Permit
Affected Area" and Exhibit C, Figure C.1 "Existing Site Map" for the existing site disturbances under
Prospect NOI P- 2005 -021).
C (a) Mineral Type & Production Rates
The following maximum production rates for the primary and secondary minerals are anticipated for the
Prince Albert Mine:
a. 75 Tons / Day of Uranium and Vanadium Ore
b. 375 Tons / Day of Mine (Sub -Ore Grade) Waste Material
Rimrock Exploration & Development
Table C.1
Permit Affected Area
