conflict of regulatory requirements may be in need of amendments. If
COOT requires their contractor to perform in less than 90 days, how will
Park County handle this situation?
ASPHALT OPERATION HOURS / OPERATING TIME FRAME:
The current business hours will remain the same. The plant will be
available for operations from 7 AM — 5 PM, Monday -- Friday. The months
of operation will generally be from April — October of each year. Weather
conditions may alter that proposed operation time frame, but not longer
than what is proposed. In the case of an emergency situation, we
respectfully request to be able to respond on a non -week day, if warranted.
This exception is also stated in the approved concrete batch plant
conditional use permit.
TEMPORARY ASPHALT PLANT / SCHEMATICS:
We have provided a sketch plan of a typical temporary asphalt plant for
your review. This has been provided by the Planning Department staff. We
don't have specific information as the type and or manufacturer at this time.
However, the plant will only be staged when operating. When it isn't in use,
it will be removed, or at a minimum, will be dies - assembled.
SITE SCREENING:
The existing site has been screened, as required by the original CUP in
2006. However, Mr. Allen has continued to place additional earth berms,
decorative concrete blocks, trees, and other screening materials around the
operations areas. This temporary asphalt plant will be screened within
these same structures and devices.
