HIGHWAY 9 ACCESS PERMIT:
A CDOT driveway access permit is already in place, and places a limit of
35 truck/ trips / day. All activities within this parcel will comply with this
maximum daily trip amount. Currently, the average amount of truck trips /
day is 5 — 8, for the existing uses.
CURRENT OPERATIONS:
All current activities will continue. This CUP application is to provide a
location, when / if a contract is let in this general portion of Park County,
with a need for a temporary asphalt plant. Mr. Allen does not intend to
operate this specific use himself. He is planning on working with additional
contractors to supply their aggregate and an approved, permitted location.
This will be a when / if situation. However, as the owner of the subject
parcel, it is Mr. Allen's responsibility to obtain this additional conditional use
permit for his location.
NECESSARY PERMITS:
Mr. Allen was required to obtain all necessary permits, both from Park
County as well as the State of Colorado. He has complied with those
conditions. Any permits germane to the temporary asphalt plant will "travel"
with that specific plant. Mr. Allen understands that when / if a temporary
asphalt plant is located on his parcel, that lessee /operator of the temporary
asphalt plant will be responsible to obtain all necessary air quality, storm
water discharge, spill containment, and site reclamation activities permits
and or requirements.
It is our understanding the Park County regulations of this activity will be
subject to various levels of review and action based upon the volume of
material /truck loads per day.
