(Detail was added to the Non - Morgan topsoil calculations and Map.
Calculations title was changed to Non - Morgan Topsoil Replacement
Calculations.)
e. Add to the legend of the map the honeycomb pattern in the BB Road and the
grey OB figures.
(Honeycomb pattern on BB road has been removed. Grey OB with explanation
has been added to legend.)
7. Annual Reclamation Report 2010, page 3, Cover Crop 1 bullet - the text says seed mix
#3 was applied at a rate of 22.5 PLS /acre. Were 22.5 pure live seeds (PLS) applied per
acre or was this a typo meant to say lbs /acre? Please address this same issue in the next
bullet on page 4.
(Grass seed are sold at PLS. Example; A 471b bag of seed may only have 95.6%
viability. This means that the 471b bag has approximately 451b of viable seed
and that is all that's paid for. The farmer must compensate buy adding the
4.4 % /ac or in this case llb to the get the 22.5PLS. In contrast, the cover crops
(oats, wheat, etc.) are not sold this way and it is assumed that virtually every
seed is viable and sold buy the pound, not PLS.)
8. Annual Reclamation Report 2010, page 4, New field Seeding and Interseeding — It is
stated that the "Benson West" property was seeded. Actually, "Benson east" was
seeded. Please fix this typo.
(Typo is corrected.)
9. Annual Reclamation Report 2010, page 5, Land Status Category Chart - In the "Last
Year's Cumulative Total" column, the total acreages forwarded from the previous years
are the same for 2008, 2009, and 2010. Also, the cumulative totals are the same for
2008 and 2010. Please check all the values in this chart by verifying the completeness of
the data.
(Land Status Category Chart has been corrected & updated.)
10. Annual Reclamation Report 2010, Page 5, Acres Seeded Chart - the acreage addition in
"Last Year's Cumulative Total" column is incorrect. The 319.91 acres forwarded is the
same value used from the 2008, 2009, and 2010. The chart list 0.0 acres seeded in 2010,
but in fact 34.6 acres were seeded. Please check all the values in this chart by verifying
the completeness of the data.
(No long term acreage was planted in 2010 therefore it cannot be claimed as
"Acres Seeded ". Only Temporary seed mix #3 totaling 34.9 acres and 3.1 acres
were replanted to Irrigated Pasture on Benson East.)
11. The following comments to the Walsh Soil Suitability Study included with the 2010
Annual Reclamation Report (ARR). At the time of the soil sampling (August 2010),
suitable soil standards were outlined in the permit by TR -57, however, during this time,
