B) Geomembrane Exposure <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was exposed during the week. <br />D) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was deployed or accepted during the week. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />ame <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />seaming. Non - destructive testing was performed for fusion welded seams. Repair /QC activities <br />will be performed in the deployment area Monday (6/13/2011). <br />C) Anchor Trench <br />1) VLF <br />Excavation of the existing anchor trench was performed between stations 1130 +00 ( + / -) and <br />H32 +00 ( + / -), near centerline and between stations J0 +00 ( + / -) and J3 +00 ( + / -), near centerline <br />was performed to allow for soil liner fill (SLF) placement in the area. This was performed <br />using a John Deere 35D and laborers. An AMEC field representative observed the anchor <br />trench excavation constantly. The full depth of the anchor trench was excavated were saturated <br />SLF was encountered. <br />Temporary anchor trench excavation continued between stations H18 +50 ( + / -) and H23 +00 <br />( + / -) using a John Deere 35D excavator and one laborer. This was performed to allow for <br />geomembrane deployment. The anchor trench was inspected by an AMEC field representative <br />and found to be constructed in accordance with design drawings and project specifications. <br />Anchor trench backfill was performed between stations H24 +00 ( + / -) and H29 +00 ( + / -), near <br />centerline and between stations J0 +00 ( + / -) and J3 +00 ( + / -), near centerline using a John Deere <br />35D excavator, a vibratory plate compactor, two jumping jack compactors, and laborers. This <br />was performed to replace any saturated SLF removed from the trench. An AMEC field <br />representative observed the backfill and it was found to be performed in accordance with <br />design drawings and project specifications. <br />E) Geomembrane Delivery <br />1) VLF <br />Two loads (11 rolls each) of 80mil LLDPE single sided textured geomembrane were delivered <br />to site during the week. The loads were delivered on a flat bed truck in good condition. The <br />rolls were unloaded using a forklift. The geomembrane was placed on three pieces of HDPE <br />pipe, stacked two rolls high. An AMEC field representative inventoried the geomembrane and <br />was present at all times during unloading of the geomembrane. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 06.11.2011 <br />
