Request for approval of plan for augmentation: <br />APPLICATION FOR UNDERGROUND WATER RIGHTS, <br />CHANGE OF WATER RIGHTS, AND REQUEST FOR <br />APPROVAL OF PLAN FOR AUGMENTATION <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />D. Name and address of owner of land upon which changed water right is <br />located or upon which the water will be used: The historic place of use for <br />the Wadlow Pumping Plant is located on land owned by co- applicant <br />McCurter. The changed rights will be use to offset out -of- priority <br />depletions which will occur on land owned by co- applicant McCurter and <br />by United Companies of Mesa County, 2273 River Road, Grand Junction, <br />CO 81505. <br />A. Name of structures to be augmented: McCurter Lake Pit Well <br />B. If structure decreed: An underground water right for the McCurter Lake <br />Pit Well is requested in paragraph two of this Application, above. <br />C. Water rights to be used for augmentation: Augmentation water will be <br />obtained from the changed water rights in the East Creek Ditch, Star <br />Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch, and the Wadlow Pumping Plant, as <br />requested in paragraphs three through five, above. To the extent that those <br />changed rights are not sufficient to offset out -of- priority depletions <br />additional augmentation water will be obtained through a water supply <br />contract with the Bureau of Reclamation for releases from Blue Mesa <br />Reservoir. <br />i) East Creek Ditch: Information on the East Creek Ditch water right <br />can be found in paragraph three, above. <br />ii) Star Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch: Information on the Star <br />Enlargement to the East Creek Ditch can be found in paragraph <br />four, above. <br />iii) Wadlow Pumping Plant: Information on the Wadlow Pumping <br />Plant can be found in paragraph five, above. <br />iv) Blue Mesa Reservoir: <br />a. Date of original decree and Case Nos.: Case No. 6981 was <br />decreed on March 30, 1960 in Montrose County District <br />Court; Case No. 80CW156 was decreed in Division No. 4 <br />Water Court on December 11, 1980. <br />b.
