Response to CN-01 Third Adequacy Issues - June 6, 2011 <br />Adequacy Issue #6 <br />Thank you for the topographic lines provided on Figure C-3, Topography: July, 2010. <br />Additionally, the color and pattern of line used to delineate the affected land boundary and the <br />permit boundary are sufficiently different to clearly identify the separate boundaries. However, <br />like many maps of the application, Figure C-3 utilized an air photo as a base layer for the map. <br />The details of the air photo interfere with the details provided by the contour lines and elevation <br />numbers. Please eliminate the air photo layer for Figure C-3 to allow clarity in reading the <br />superior detail provided by the contour lines. Please ensure the revised Figure C-3 includes all <br />affected lands within the permit boundary and boundary of affected lands. <br />Response #6 <br />Wildcat Mining is submitting a revised Figure C-3 addressing these issues and removing <br />the aerial photo laver. The revised Figure C-3 is compliant with Rule 6.2.1(2). A cony of <br />the revised Figure C-3 is provided within Attachment C to this response <br />Adequacy Issue #7 <br />The details of Figure C-7, Man-Made Structures, are difficult to read due to the inappropriate <br />scale (1 inch = 833 feet) resulting from reduction of the map. Figure C-7 fails to include all <br />affected lands within the permit boundary and boundary of affected lands. The color and pattern <br />of line used to delineate the affected land boundary and the permit boundary are sufficiently <br />similar to confuse the two boundaries. Figure C-7 incorrectly indicates two mill facilities on site, <br />one at the Idaho and the second at May Day 1 area. Please submit a new Figure C-7, which <br />corrects these inadequacies. <br />Response #7 <br />Wildcat Mining is submitting a revised Figure C-7 addressing these issues The boundary <br />colors have been modified as requested and the revised Figure C-7 is compliant with Rule <br />6.2.1(2). A copv of the revised Figure C-7 is provided within Attachment C to this <br />response. <br />Adequacy Issue #8 <br />Thank you for the topographic lines provided on Figure SWMP-2, Surface Drainage Basin <br />Delineation. Please eliminate the air photo layer for Figure SWMP-2 to allow clarity in reading <br />the superior detail provided by the contour lines. Please ensure the revised Figure SWMP-2 <br />delineates and labels the amended permit boundary and includes all affected lands within the <br />affected land boundary. Figure S WMP-2 inappropriately shows two augmentation ponds, one of <br />which is located outside of the affected land boundary. Figure S WMP-2 inappropriately locates <br />the mill at the Idaho rather than at May Day 1 level.
