Response to CN-01 Third Adequacy Issues - June 6, 2011
• La Plata Bridge - 0.1 acres;
• Staging Yard - 1.0 acre;
• Exploration Roads & Drill Pads - 15.8 acres;
• Pre-existing Roads - 9.5 acres; and
• New Access Road - 1.8 acres.
Total Affected Lands - 47.6 acres
All maps previously submitted for CN-01 have failed to enclose the augmentation pipeline
corridor, the bridge at La Plata River, exploration roads and drill pads, and the pre-existing roads
within the boundary of affected lands. All previously submitted maps for CN-01 have failed to
properly identify the correct boundary of affected lands.
Response #3
#3a - Wildcat Mining. has revised its maps to delineate and label the correct permit
boundary, including the 1 acre staging yard (Base of Operations) Copies of the revised
maps are provided within Attachment C to this response
#3b - Wildcat Mining has revised its maps to delineate and label the correct boundary of
the affected lands and this boundary now encloses the affected lands identified b DRMS
in Adequacy Issue #3b Copies of the revised maps are provided within Attachment C to
this response.
Adequacy Issue #4
Pursuant to Rule 6.2.1(2)(e), the acceptable range of map scales shall not be larger than 1 inch =
50 feet nor smaller than 1 inch = 660 feet. The maps of the amended CN-01 display a narrative
scale (1 inch = xxx feet) and a graphic scale, which indicate the full sized maps were drawn to an
appropriate scale. However, the full sized maps were not submitted with the application. The
maps of the application have been reduced to fit 8.5 inch by 11 inch paper or 11 inch by 17 inch
paper. The reduction in size has reduced the scale of the maps, resulting in at least nine maps
being not compliant with the requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2)(e), as listed on Table 1.
Table 1- Out of Scale Mane fn.- errr n,
=Figure Narrative Scale
Displayed on Map Approximate Scale
Of Reduced Map
C-1 1 inch = 500 feet 1 inch = 833 feet
C-2 1 inch = 500 feet 1 inch = 833 feet

Revised
6/6/2011
4
