GS tested fresh slurry and trench slurry prior to excavation of cross cut at STA 40+00. Fresh slurry showed passing <br />improvement in accordance with specifications. <br />2. 1300 hrs, excavation operations halted after 2°d cut of cross cut at 40+20 due to inclimate weather approaching. Other <br />operations except backfilling operations halted at this time in preparation for cold weather. Cross cut turn at STA 40+00 <br />met minimum 10 lead out as detailed in the Lyman Henn, Inc. Construction Report. <br />3. Performed quality control testing on slurry and backfill. Observed backfill and excavation operations. Other tests <br />performed yielded results in general accordance with project specifications.
