In Response #15, the Applicant states the revised work plan for the access road has been
resubmitted as a new Exhibit 6.5. In Exhibit 6.5, the Applicant states the new access road
construction work plan including erosion and sedimentation BMPs are summarized in
Attachment 6.5.2. The Division did not receive Attachment 6.5.2.
2. If the Applicant intended to refer the Division to Attachment 6.5-2 submitted on November
10, 2010, please respond to the Division's adequacy questions pertaining to the attachment
(questions #5 through #18 in the March 7, 2011 Access Road memorandum) and provide the
additional work plan details requested by the Division in previous geotechnical memos.
3. In Response #15, the Applicant states see Attachment E addressing Mr. Hays and Mr. Cazier's
issues. Due to the complexity and amount of information contained in Attachment E, the
Division requests the Applicant respond directly to the questions contained in the March 7th
memorandum by Mr. Hays and Mr. Cazier or specifically state where in the attachment the
response may be located.
4. In Response #15, the Applicant states a separate access road adequacy letter is being
submitted under separate cover. The Division received a letter entitled, "Response to CN-01
Preliminary Adequacy Issues for a 112d-1 Application, CN-01, Wildcat Mining Corporation,
May Day Idaho Mine Complex, File No. M-1981-185. Geotechnical Response" written by J.
Erich Rauber. Please confirm this is the letter referenced in Response #15.
5. In Response #26, the Applicant states Exhibit 6.5 provides the final configuration of the
reclaimed access road corridor. Exhibit 6.5 (Attachment E-8) did not discuss reclamation of
the access road. Please explain this discrepancy and provide the final configuration of the
reclaimed road corridor.
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
