Third Adequacy Letter, Amended CN-01 2 <br />May Day Idaho Mine Complex <br />2. Please provide proof of notice to all Owners of Record of the surface and mineral rights <br />of the affected land and the Owners of Record of all land surfaces within 200 feet of the <br />amended affected land boundary, as required by Rules 1.6.2(1)(e)(i) and (ii). <br />Maps - Rules 6.2.1(2), 6.4.3, 6.4.4, and 6.4.6 <br />3. Pursuant to Rule 6.2.1(2)(d), all maps of the application must identify and outline the <br />permit boundary and the boundary of affected lands. There are two boundaries which <br />must be delineated and labeled on the maps; the permit boundary, enclosing <br />approximately 274.4 acres, and the boundary of affected lands, enclosing approximately <br />47.6 acres. All affected lands must be enclosed within the boundary of affected lands <br />and all affected lands must be enclosed within the permit boundary. <br />a. Please revise the maps of the application to delineate and label the correct permit <br />boundary, which now includes the one-acre staging yard. <br />b. Please revise the maps of the application to delineate and label the correct <br />boundary of affected lands. The boundary of affected lands shall enclose the <br />following areas: <br />• May Day 1- 3.5 acres; <br />• May Day 1 East -' 0.5 acres; <br />• May Day 2 - 3.3 acres; <br />• May Day 3 (Lamb) - 3.2 acres; <br />• Idaho Millsite - 3.1 acres, <br />• Pay Day Millsite - 5.1 acres; <br />• Augmentation Pipeline Corridor -0.4 acres; <br />• Chief Tunnel - <br />• La Plata Bridge - <br />• Staging Yard - <br />• Exploration Roads & Drill Pads <br />• Pre-existing Roads - <br />• New Access Road - <br />Total Affected Lands - <br />0.3 acres; <br />0.1 acres; <br />1.0 acre; <br />15.8 acres; <br />9.5 acres; and <br />1.8 acres. <br />47.6 acres <br />All maps previously submitted for CN-01 have failed to enclose the augmentation <br />pipeline corridor, the bridge at La Plata River, exploration roads and drill pads, and <br />the pre-existing roads within the boundary of affected lands. All previously <br />submitted maps for CN-01 have failed to properly identify the correct boundary of <br />affected lands. <br />4. Pursuant to Rule 6.2.1(2)(e), the acceptable range of map scales shall not be larger than <br />1 inch = 50 feet nor smaller than 1 inch = 660 feet. The maps of the amended CN-01 <br />display a narrative scale (1 inch = xxx feet) and a graphic scale, which indicate the full <br />sized maps were drawn to an appropriate scale.
