The Climax Mine Underground <br />Levels have a storage capacity of approximately 1,223 acre feet and are located beneath the <br />South ''/z of Section 1, and the North %2, the Southeast 1/4, and the North % of the Southwest 1/4 of <br />Section 12, all in Township 8 South, Range 79 West, 6' P.M., Colorado. The Climax Mine <br />Underground Levels impound surface flow, seepage, and run-off from watersheds that are <br />tributary to Tenmile Creek and are not otherwise intercepted by the Open Pit North Interceptor <br />Ditch. <br />3.2.26 The Open Pit North Interceptor Ditch. The Open Pit North Interceptor <br />Ditch will run westerly along the north side of the Climax Mine Open Pit and into the Tenmile <br />Creek basin. The Open Pit North Interceptor Ditch will divert surface flow, seepage, and run-off <br />from watersheds above it that are tributary to the Climax Mine Underground Levels and Tenmile <br />Creek at a maximum rate of 20.0 cfs. <br />3.2.27 The Upper East Interceptor Ditch. The Upper East Interceptor Ditch runs <br />from a point whence the Northeast corner of Section 2, Township 8 South, Range 79 West, 6' <br />P.M. bears north 37°00' east a distance of 4,400 feet, northeasterly into the south fork of <br />McNulty Creek. The Upper East Interceptor Ditch diverts surface flow, seepage, and run-off <br />from watersheds above it that are tributary to Tenmile Creek at a maximum rate of 15.0 cfs. <br />3.2.28 The Climax Camp Area Drainage System.
