Connell Resources Timnath Pit
Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan
Revision Date: June 25, 2009
Section 17.0 Bulk Storage Containers [112.8(c)]
Page 17-3
17.9 Observation Of Eff luent Treatment Facilities [112.8(c)(9)]
Not Applicable - the Connell facility does not have effluent treatment facilities.
17.10 Visible Discharge Correction [112.8(c)(10)]
Visible oil leaks are reported to the supervisor. When discovered, spilled oil is cleaned up
by operating personnel using oil spill cleanup supplies (e.g., floor dry, sand) located in
various areas throughout the facility.
17.11 Mobile or Portable Oil Storage Containers [112.8(c)(11)]
The Facility does have mobile or portable oil storage tanks other than mobile refueling
vehicles that are regulated by the Department of Transportation. When mobile or portable
oil storage containers are located on-site, they are placed in a bermed area. The oil storage
containers associated with the crushers are covered under a separate SPCC plan, included
in Appendix G.
