The ultimate goal of this reclamation plan is to make a series of connected
lakes with grass slopes near the water's edge and occasional willows. The 4 lakes
will be stocked with fish for the enjoyment of the Clark family and friends.
Seed Mixture:
Mountain Brome grass (Bromar)
Timothy (Climax)
Western Wheatgrass (Arriba)
Orchard grass (Painte)
Red clover
Rocky Mountain Penstamen (Bandera)
Reseeding will be broadcast at twice the recommended 9.4 pounds per
acre. 18.8 pounds per acre will be broadcast. Seedbed preparation will include
spreading topsoil, fines, and crushing fines. Seed will be broadcast and harrowed
and then tracked equipment will compact the seed and topsoil fines mixture. A
soil test will be conducted and fertilizer will be applied the following year,
depending on soil tests.
Any contaminated (asphalt or concrete) gravels or soils will be removed
and used as road base for the access roads to the Clark residence.
