•
•
366 Class III Inventory, Colowyo's Collom Mine Project
Figure 6.223 Overview of Site 5MF4004, Looking North (Taken by Garry Looms, 8/24/05).
of one juniper tree and scattered sagebrush interspersed with snakeweed, thistle, cheatgrass, and rice
grass.
The current inventory found that artifacts are eroding down the slope and only 20+ flakes were noted
during the current inventory. The site was collected in 1995.
NRHP Elipibility Recommendation and Protect Effect Site 5MF4004 has been determined by
the Colorado OAHP as officially not eligible for inclusion on the NRHP, and the current inventory
evaluation concurs with that assessment. The site is extensively slopewashed, there are no extant
features, the diagnostic artifacts were collected in 1995, and most of the remaining artifacts are
eroding down the slope andare out of con text. The shallow residual soil lacks sufficient deposition
to contain buried intact cultural material. All pertinent information has been obtained from this site
during recordation, and the research potential has been exhausted.
47599
TRC Mariah Associates Inc.
