amec <br />Earth & Environmental <br />C. Waste Rock to Stockpile: <br />• Stockpile some oversize rock from the LOB cut to VLF structural fill for future <br />haul to Dump 4. <br />1. VLF <br />• All oversized material located in the fill from Stations K4+00 to 8+00 and 0 to <br />100 foot left was pushed out of the fill area, stockpiled and will be removed at a <br />later date. <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />• No Activities. . <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. VLF <br />• Work has continued placing structural fill, including night work, in the VLF <br />from approximate Sta. K4+00 to K8+00 approximately 0 to 100-feet left of <br />centerline. Fill is being hauled from the LOB/Delivery Road cut. Benching <br />each subsequent lift to remove any frozen or unsuitable material has been <br />achieved with a Cat D-6 dozer while the fill progresses. All fill placed as per <br />method spec. as outlined in the Project Specification <br />• Discussions with AMES centered on the removal of unsuitable materials, <br />namely oversize rock and method spec for the structural fill. <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />• A remedial plan has been sent addressing the old workings prepared by AMEC <br />• Excavated Wednesday night (one night). Cut to fill to VLF Station K4+00 to <br />K8+00, 0 to 100-feet left. All oversize rock stockpiled for future haul to waste. <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. VLF <br />• No Activities <br />2. Sediment Collection Pond <br />• No Activities <br />F. SLF Processing (Material is being generated/processed for the LOB and the VLF) <br />• Production of the SLF material located in Dump 5 continued intermittently at <br />the clay plant during the week. Continued maintenance problems resulted in <br />reduced production for the week. Quality of produced material was not affected. <br />• The materials screening plant to process construction materials has been in <br />operation all week. Two samples were taken on the -3 inch and -2 inch <br />processed materials.
