6. One water tank appears to have been added to Table 19 but two
are discussed in the cover letter. Please ensure that Table 19 clearly
identifies each water tank by size or volume.
NECC Response: Permit text on page 2.05-5a and Table 19 have
been revised.
DBMS Response: Response accepted. However, there is a text error
on revised permit page 2.05-5a. The last sentence in the third full
paragraph (paragraph beginning "A ditch is proposed to route...")
reads "The detailed design in included as an addendum..." The
word "in" should be "is", so the sentence will read "The detailed
design is included as an addendum..." Please correct the text in the
final sentence of the third full paragraph on revised permit page 2,05-
5a, changing the word "in" to "is", as noted above. Please submit
three copies of revised page 2.05-5a for review.
7. The central pumping station building and the rock dust pressure
vessel described in the cover letter is not listed in Table 19. Please
add this structure to Table 19,
NECC Response: The central pumping station is removed from
consideration under TR-54 and the compressor and pressure vessel
building has been added to Table 19.
DBMS Response: Response accepted.
8. Please expand the permit narrative discussion of the electrical
power distribution upgrade. Include substation changes or
additions power pole locations or line locations with the number of
poles added per line. If the power company owns the poles and
the poles will remain after reclamation, please include a letter from
the power company stating that the poles belong to them and will
remain when the site is reclaimed.
NECC Response: Text has been added/revised to discuss power
distribution on the mine site. Power facilities on the mine property are
owned by the mine.
DBMS Response: Please add ownership information to Map 11 Sheet
2 and/or Table 19, if necessary, to clearly indicate any power lines
shown on the map that are not owned by the mine. Please also refer
to question # 17 below.
