amec(v
•
4.1.3 Atterberg Limits
AMEC performed Atterberg limit testing of all fill materials. All fill materials, with the
exception of SF, SLF, SSF, and CSB were non-plastic. The SLF, SF, SSF, UF, LVSCF,
DCF, and CSB samples tested met project specifications for Atterberg Limits.
AMEC performed three CQA Atterberg limit of UF. The testing frequency (approximately
one test per 59 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test
per 5,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limit of OF met project specifications. The OF
CQA Atterberg limit results are presented in Appendix H-1 and summarized in Table 6.
AMEC performed four CQA Atterberg limit of the SSF. The testing frequency (approximately
one test per 221 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test
per 50,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limit of SSF met project specifications. The
SSF CQA Atterberg limit results are presented in Appendix H-1 and summarized in Table 7.
AMEC performed fifty-three CQA Atterberg limit of SF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 47,415 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing
frequency of one test per 50,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limit performed on SF met
project specifications. The SF CQA Atterberg limit results are presented in Appendix H-1
and summarized in Table 8.
AMEC performed 17 CQA Atterberg limit of SLF. The testing frequency (approximately one
test per 3,138 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test
per 5,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limit performed of SLF met project specifications.
The SLF CQA Atterberg limit results are presented in Appendix H-1 and summarized in
Table 9.
AMEC performed twenty-one CQA Atterberg limit of LVSCF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 8,191 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing
frequency of one test per 10,000 cubic yards. The LVSCF CQA Atterberg limit met project
specifications, and the results are presented in Appendix H-1 and summarized in Table 10.
AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc.
2000 S.
