May Day and Idaho Mine Complex 112 (d) Permit Application <br />• Mill Retrofit requires no interim reclamation. <br />• Ore Stockpile Processing <br />The ore stockpiles located at: <br />• May Day No 2 bench (May Day No 2 Operational Area) <br />• Idaho No 1 bench (Idaho Operational Area) <br />• Lamb bench (Lamb Operational Area) <br />and will be processed in the mill, requiring no interim reclamation. <br />• Augmentation Pond Construction <br />The one acre foot augmentation storage pond will be constructed in an area identified on Figure <br />C -4 and summarized in Exhibit 6.5. Pond and stored rock disposal within the Idaho reclamation <br />area will be configured as illustrated on Figure F -4 (Exhibit F) <br />• Reclamation Activities for Little Deadwood Gulch at May Day No. 2 and Chief Operational <br />Areas will be reclaimed as outlined in Exhibit 6.5. <br />Phase 2 - Milling Optimization <br />• This activity is within the May Day No. 2 Operational Area and does not require interim reclama- <br />tion. Reclamation of this facility will be conducted during final closure. <br />• Proposed tailings storage in stope (i.e., underground) will not require reclamation. <br />Production Phase: May Day No 1. Operational Area <br />• Interim reclamation during this phase will consist of route maintenance of BMPs and weed con- <br />trol. <br />Exploration <br />Exploration will include 11 boreholes and their associated exploration roads as shown on Figure <br />C -4 (Exhibit Q. <br />Exploration activities will be limited to drill pads of dimensions 100' x 100' (10,000 sq ft each; <br />2.5 acres for 11 holes). One hole will be drilled at a time over a period estimated to be approx- <br />imately 90 days. Each borehole will be abandoned in accordance with State Engineers require- <br />ments prior to mobilizing to the next drill location. Re- grading and seeding of each drill pad will <br />commence as soon after abandonment as season and weather conditions permit. Exploration <br />roads will be permanent. <br />Production Expansion <br />• Based on the results of the exploration phase, the total operational area may be expanded.
