Moderate to large patches of houndstongue were also treated throughout the Moffat area
over the course of both treatment visits. Light to moderate infestations were treated along
the roadway from just south of the mine entrance extending to the intersection with the
road leading to the lower Moffat areas. The heaviest houndstongue populations were
treated immediately east of the pond. More moderate infestations were treated on
hillsides on the eastern side of the roadway, extending two to three hundred yards into the
reclamation.
Several small patches of perennial pepperweed and several moderate patches of whitetop
were treated in the Moffat area.
