3.0 GEOSYNTHETICS INSTALLATION
Geosynthetics installed in the Phase 46/413 Triangle area consisted of 100-mil single sided
texture LLDPE geomembrane. The LLDPE geomembrane was manufactured by Poly-Flex of
Grand Prairie, Texas. Geomembrane installation activities included deployment, seaming, and
non-destructive and destructive testing of 100-mil single sided texture LLDPE geomembrane.
Lonestar installed approximately 8,000 square feet of geomembrane, including geomembrane in
' the anchor trench and overlap.
' Geomembrane was placed on compacted and approved SLF. Ames anchored geomembrane at
the limits of the VLF, where applicable, in an anchor trench a minimum of 3 feet deep by 2 feet
' wide.
