5 (Form 2- Public)
G. Total project area to be disturbed <l (acres)
H. Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
Pad Constriction- Komatsu track-loader (or equivalent)
Drilling: Hagby 300 Drill. Max. depth 850 ft. w/BTW diamond drill (60 mm OD/42 mm ID)
Access: Light vehicles (pick-up trucks or equivalent)
Service: Water truck an or Mobile vehicle maintenance truck
1. Describe and locate any structures to be constructed (i.e. stockpiles, ponds, impoundments):
Dozed pad areas will be optimized cut/fill on slope gradient. Surplus material, if any, will be utilized
to berm perimeter of pad. The mud pit will be located interior to the pad - excavated material will be
stoppage 48-inrh 1)1,qStmr ronstri iction fenrjng will hp placed on steel T-posts aro, ind the perimeter
of the mud pit for safety purposes and to discourage wildlife intrusion.
J. Describe anticipated relationship to surface water and groundwater (proximity to streams, penetration of ground
water aquifers):
Closest "water feature" would be the head of Blackhawk Gulch, an ephemeral drainage feature located about
250 ft. east o the propose activity area. No aqua er encounterment is anticipate however, fracture system
groundwater and./or flooded underground workings may be encountered at intawals; Over the boring length.
Silt fencing will be installed at downgradient locations of the pad perimeter and certified weed free straw bales
or equivalent erosion controls e.g., sediment ogs, etc.) will be installed/deployed as warranted.
IV. OPERATION AND RECLAMATION MEASURES:
The Board suggests that a photographic record of the pre-prospecting and post-prospecting conditions be kept by the
prospector. These photos should be taken from the same location and by the same method to clearly show the pre-prospecting
condition of the land and the reclamation efforts. Upon completion of reclamation and request for bond or surety release, the
Board may consider the photos as evidence of adequate reclamation, and thus, be able to act more quickly on the request for
release.
2. Provide a description of the native vegetation of the area to be disturbed, including tree, shrub, and grass communities of the
area. Color photographs, sufficient to adequately represent the ecology of the site and adequately labeled (including date,
orientation and location), may be used in lieu of a written description. Based on the quality of the photographs, the Division
may require additional detail.
The soils at the proposed exploration area are considered to be a part of the Juget-Rock Outcrop Complex. Native trees are
predominantly Lodgepole and Ponderosa pine, with Douglas fir and Engelmann spruce present at increasing elevations. AGC, when
finalizing pa oca ions an orientation, will attempt to minimize tree remova . Downed trees i any will be remove rom e s e an
trimmings/slash saved for reclamation purposes (i.e., erosion control, mulching, and/or wildlife habitat). Either Peyton or Aliens Park
soils are present near drainage areas (such as Blackhawk Gulch) as colluvium, and range from 0" to as much as 60" in thickness
overlying the Boulder Creek granite, Sparse grasses are present on the south facing slope - primarily slender wheatgrass mountain
muhly, Perry oatgrass, Thurber fescue, and scattered locations of kinnickinnick, all of which are typically encumbered with
@cGumul2fians of pane duff AGC will Galled rapreseAtative photographs of (pre-prograrn) intaGtvagatative status priorto QxcavatiAg
drill pads and obtain equivalently positioned post-program photographs. These photos will be provided to DRMS as supplemental
ii ifon i iativi i to ti is Pie', anft. incorporated ii ito the final . emia ... ation report and bu, id mlease i equest to be mbmitted upoi i
completion of exploration activities.
