Attachment 9
The color shading of the permit areas on the maps interferes with detail viewing. Please
eliminate the color shading of the permit areas on the maps.
Please replace all Exhibits E-1 through E-7 with these revised Exhibits E-1 through E-7.
Attachment 10
Underground openings for ventilation purposes are not discussed in the plan or located on the
map. If there are no underground openings for ventilation other than portals, please state such.
Otherwise, please discuss these openings in the text and show their locations on the maps as
required under rule 6.3.3(1) (e).
The entire Exhibit C-Mine Plan has been revised and inserted in response to adequacy issue 11. This
specific adequacy issue is address on pages 2-3 of Exhibit C-Mine Plan. Also replace revised version of
Exhibit E-5 in response to adequacy issue no 9.
Attachment 11
Section 6.3.3(1) (c) of the application appears to utilize the terms "waste rock"" and
"tailings" to describe the same materials. Waste rock is large particle waste materials
generated from the driving of adits and shafts as necessary to access the ore body. Tailings
are small particle waste materials, from the ore body, resulting from the milling process after
the mineral values have been extracted. Please maintain this distinction throughout all
portions of the application.
The entire Exhibit C-Mine Plan was revised to incorporate this adequacy issue. Please insert this
revised Exhibit C-Mine Plan to replace Exhibit C-Mine Plan in the May Day Mine and Mill Amended
Permit Application.
Attachment 12
Section 6.3.3(1)(c) states, "No more that 5,000 cubic yards of non acid producing ore will be stored
on the Mayday No. 1 bench . . . . " Please note that such statements, in the approved permit, may
become enforceable permit conditions.
The entire Exhibit C-Mine Plan has been revised and inserted in response to adequacy issue 11.
Attachment 13
Section 6.3.3(1)(c) of AM-01 states, "No more than 25,000 tons of rock will be
sampled or developed from the No. 2 portal...." Pursuant to Rule 1.1(27), all
June 28, 2010 Response To DRMS Adequacy Issues May Day Mine and Mill Amendment M-1981-185
