Attachment 5 <br />Pursuant to Rule 6.3.2(c), please describe the underground relationship between the Idaho Mine <br />and the May Day Mine, specifically addressing any hydrologic connection, man-made or <br />otherwise. <br />Exhibit B-Site Description has been revised to address DRMS adequacy issues. This adequacy issue <br />is specifically addressed on Pgs 4-5. <br />Attachment 6 <br />Little Deadwood Creek,rbceives drainage directly from the affected lands. Please provide the <br />information required by Rule 6.3.2. (c) <br />Exhibit B-Site Description has been revised to address DRMS adequacy issues. This adequacy issue <br />is specifically addressed on PRs 4-5. A revised copy of Exhibit E-5. Mine Plan has also been provided in <br />response to adequacy issue no 4. <br />Attachment 7 <br />Section 6.3.3(1) (b) of the application indicates that topsoil will be borrowed from <br />undisclosed locations and stockpiled for reclamation purposes. The location of stockpiled <br />topsoil is shown on Figure E-5. Exhibit D commits to topsoil replacement at six inch depth. <br />Pursuant to Rule 6.3.3(1) and 6.3.5(2) (c), please delineate the topsoil borrow locations on <br />the Mine Plan Map. Please note that topsoil borrow locations are affected land, must be <br />located within the permit area and must be addressed by the reclamation plan. <br />The entire Exhibit C-Mine Plan has been revised. This specific adequacy issue is address on page 1 of <br />Exhibit C-Mine Plan A revised Mine Plan Map-Exhibit E-5 has also been provided in the response to <br />adequacy issue no 6. <br />Attachment 8 <br />Pursuant to Rule 6.3.3(1)(e), major components of the mining operation must be described in <br />the mine plan and located on Exhibit E - Map. Exhibit E-3 of the application appears to <br />incorrectly locate the portal at Level 2, shows only one of the two portals at Level 1, does <br />not show the location of the mill facility at Level 1, and does not locate the portal at Level 3. <br />The Level 2 portal is located on the east side of Little Deadwood Creek but is incorrectly <br />located on the west side of the creek on Exhibits E-3 and E-7. Please submit new Exhibits E-3 <br />and E-7, which correctly locate all major components of the mining operation. <br />Please replace Exhibit E-3 and Exhibit E-7 with these revised Exhibits E-3 and E-7. <br />June 28, 2010 Response To DRMS Adequacy Issues May Day Mine and Mill Amendment M-1981-185
