Wally Erickson
June 28, 2010
Page 13
Solid and solid debris will be disposed underground. All other materials will be
packaged, transported and disposed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Exhibit E Map Rule 6.3.5
26. Although required by Rule 6.3.5(1), none of the maps submitted with AM-01 show
any section corners adjacent to the proposed operation. Please submit new maps
which satisfy all map requirements of Rules 6.2.1(2) and 6.3.5
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 26: Wildcat Mining has attached hereto as
Attachment 26 copies of maps depicting section corners. Please note that these maps are
based on existing survey data, and that Wildcat Mining is in the process of re-surveying the
May Day Nos. 1, 2 and 3. Wildcat Mining, therefore, reserves the right to supplement its
application to include revised maps reflecting updated survey information.
27. Section 6.3.3(1)(e) indicates that the bench at the Level 2 portal will be extended.
The Level 2 portal is located on the north side of the access road and the existing
bench extends beyond the south side of the access road. Yet, according to Exhibit
E-7, no reclamation is planned for any portion of the bench located on the south
side of the access road. Please correct Exhibit E-7.
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 27: Affected mine lands have been identified on
submitted base maps. Pre-existing roads will remain after mining, benches, designated
mine rock disposal areas out slopes will remain at angle of repose, reclaimed affected lands
will be scarified and revegetated using approved seed or containerized root stock. The
areas will be mulched or hydro mulched at an applied rate of 1500 to 2000 lbs an acre. The
benches will be contoured to direct drainage towards the cut and directed to a release point
to adjacent drainages. The drainage channel constructed across the benches will be rip
rapped as necessary, sediment traps installed and the surface areas on the bench will be
reclaimed by scarifying, revegetating and adding mulch. Wildcat Mining has attached
hereto as Attachment 27 a corrected copy of Exhibit E-7 reflecting these clarifications.
Geochemical Review-Wildcat Mining Corporation (Questions posed by David Bird)
28. Please address the seventeen adequacy issues identified by the Division's
Geochemist, David Bird.
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 28: Wildcat Mining provides the following
responses to the seventeen adequacy issues identified by Mr. Bird.
28-1. The analyte list shown in Attachment B-3 is not as comprehensive as DRMS would
like for a hard rock metal mining operation that disturbs sulfide-bearing rock. The
recommended analytes are as follows:
