Please describe the specific steps in the procedure for dismantling the mill facility
and steel set entry at the Level 1 area.
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 24: Wildcat Mining will remove, recycle or
dispose liquids (solvents, hydrocarbons, acids, bases, processing chemicals) and wood from
the site in accordance with applicable waste management regulations. To the extent
possible, steel sets, process equipment, generators, wire, etc. will be salvaged. Materials
not toxic or hazardous producing will be dismantled from the mine site and cut for disposal
underground. The solid waste will be placed in the unsaturated stope used for mine rock
disposal. See Attachment 24.
25. The proposed reclamation plans indicates that some of the milling structures will
be removed and some will be buried at the portal. Please specify which
structures will be removed from site and which structures will be buried on-site.
For the itemized list of structures to be buried on site, please describe the
measures taken to minimize disturbances to the hydrologic balance, prevent off-
site damage, and provide for a stable configuration consistent with the proposed
future land use, as required under Rule 6.3.4(1)(e).
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 25: For its response to Adequacy Issue No. 25,
Wildcat Mining incorporates by reference its responses to Adequacy Issue Nos. 23 and 24
supra.
Wildcat Mining will states further that it will undertake the following reclamation
activities to minimize impacts to the site:
