No violations have been issued since Permit Renewal <br />No. 2 (RN-02) in September 2008. <br />Section V - Summary and Discussion <br />Please review the questions below and submit a technical revision to the permit within <br />45 days of receipt of this mid-term review to address the identified deficiencies. <br />Table 2.04.7-5 lists the water rights leased by New Elk Coal Company. <br />Please update this table, if necessary, with current information. Please also <br />correct the date for Tafoya and Virgil, listed as 22/2/1'2866. <br />2. The Table of Contents identifies Map 2.04.9-1 Soils but the map in the <br />approved permit is "Soils - Jeff Canyon Surface Mine 5-year Mine Plan, <br />Map 2.04.9-2 (RN-01) 11/2003". Please correct this discrepancy. <br />3. Page 2.05-11 says "spoil transportation zones are shown on Map 2.05.3-1" <br />but no zones appear to be shown. Please correct this discrepancy. <br />4. Figure EX 15-15 Surface Mines Surface Water Management Plan depicts <br />the surface runoff system for the site. While some of this information may <br />be correct, many ditches are not shown as compared to Map 2.05.4-2 Post <br />mining Topography 2006. Should Figure EX 15-15 be referenced as historic <br />and should some of the ditch labeling be transferred to Map 2.05.4-2 to
