This q uestion re clarification re the variable replacement plan as described <br />in the text. Amended text on pa 2.05-46 and 2.05-47 ade addressed the <br />concern. Item Resolved. <br />4. The Division re that Colow either include a current topsoil balance chart <br />addressin the current topsoil balance for various areas within the ori permit area, <br />and the South Ta area. In response, the operator referenced Section 12 of the Annual <br />Report. In the Annual Report for 2009, the applicable Report section is Section 11. <br />Fi 11 -4 presents the topsoil balance as of December 2009. The infonnation. <br />presented in the fi apparentl is applicable to the entire mine., and the various <br />acrea volume, and "avera replacement depth available" cate do not distin <br />between ori pen-nit area and South Ta area stockpile volumes, acres, and avera <br />replacement depths. As described on pa 2.05-47 and other sections of the application., <br />topsoil handlin operations for the South Ta area are se from the remainder <br />of the permit area. Due to the q uantities of soil available, avera replacement <br />thicknesses are substantiall g reater in the South Ta area than in the ori permit <br />area locations that remain to be top piled.
