• 60 shares when the unmined corn field was included. Also, Ross shows Range land on the map
which is OUR CORNFIELD, another lie and before that it was irrigated grass/alfalfa. He needs
to get his facts right, if that's possible.
So everyone understands here, WFC wants to put the SUNSHINE CORNER into dry land stating
there is not enough water available. The law states that there must be a dependable water supply
and also states the operator is obligated to lease or provide water to reclaim it like it was. 12
more shares have been offered and WFC has refused. They want to separate what we have
offered and what they have already leased. This isn't even feasible. We will give them another
12 shares which is totally enough even with their calculations to water everything. This is more
than we have ever had for that piece of property. If they feel they do not have enough water, why
are they filing on all the ponds, ground water, and every other water right if they have no
intentions of using any of it and they are not farmers. Why are they permitted to take shares of cc
ditch out of the permit area if they do not have enough water to reclaim the properties to the
conditions they were before they entered them? These CC shares were here to reclaim the
properties. Mr. Morgan is the largest share holder in the cc ditch and the water is already in the
pipe line and with a crank of a valve, all the water necessary to reclaim this property is available.
We do not want to furnish more than is needed because there is no sense to just let all of these
shares sit idle and not be used and we do not want WFC to think just because this water is
available it has to be used and DROWN our Alfalfa. Alfalfa drowns very easily and they do not
understand this as you can clearly see on the Garvey, Burbridge, Benson properties. Once
Alfalfa drowns, it can NEVER come back. We are the Only ones being mined that grow straight
• alfalfa and NO One understands, that has irrigated, how easily it drowns. WFC will drown it if
they want the water running all of the time! ! ! ! !
I could go on forever in this permit-revision pointing false statements, but I won't, there are too
many and would keep this meeting here all night
One other thing, How come our well on the Sunshine Corner is never mentioned or documented
anywhere to be replaced and what happened in documentation showing where and when it was
mined??????
Also, The DRMS has been told this many times but they still don't understand. When Peabody
designated the pre-mine terminology, IF IT WAS GREEN IT WAS EITHER IRRIGATED
PASTURE OR IRRIGATED PASTURE HAY!!!!! Those are the only distinctions Peabody
made!!! They did not designate or distinguish between cropland, alfalfa, alfalfa/grass or anything
else. If it was green, it was either pasture or hay. If they seen a bale of hay, it was pasture hay, if
they seen a cow, it was pasture. We have told you guys this over and over. WE do not have
GRASS on our place or PASTURE or GRASS/ALFALFA or GRASS HAY or any of those!!!!
We raise STRAIGHT ALFALFA and CROPS mostly corn or wheat or oats!!!! Please get your
terminology right. So, please quit documenting that Ross needs to change his IC to IP or IPH.
We have none of those!!!! Also, DRMS needs to understand that PC is DRYLAND! ! ! ! PC
AND DRYLAND ARE THE SAME THING!!! That is why there is NO seed listed for PC
because it is dryland WHICH WE ARE NOT GOING TO ALLOW ANY dryland ON THIS
•
PLACE. THERE WAS NO DRYLAND BEFORE AND THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE ANY
