Page 9
Rule 2.05.6(6)(c)(i)(F) The monitoring program shall be designed to extend for a time, beyond
cessation of mining in any area, consistent with the need for verification of the subsidence
prediction.
The PAP includes two years. The angle of draw monuments over Panel B-12 could terminate
once mining is complete on both adjacent panels.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(c)(ii) The application shall include an appropriate map, prepared according to
the standards of Section 2. 10, showing the location of monuments to be installed and structures
to be monitored within the permit and adjacent area.
- 17 The monuments of both (Bruce Park Dam) traverses should be added to Map 27.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(d)(i) See the Rules for the text of this rule. This is a contingency item.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e) A subsidence survey, prepared by appropriately qualified professionals in
accord with the current state-of-the-art of subsidence prediction technology, shall contain the
following information:
Z The application includes Exhibits 15 and 17. The people who prepared the exhibits are not
identified.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i) A detailed description of subsidence predicted to occur within the permit and
adjacent area, including:
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(A) A brief description of the planned mining methods;
The PAP is in compliance with this rule. Longwall mining is proposed.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(B) A brief description of geologic properties which influence subsidence
occurrence, such as rock mechanics character of the affected materials, geologic structure of
the affected materials, faulting and fracturing of the involved geologic section, and permit and
adjacent area topography;
The application is in compliance with this rule. See pages 6 throughl5 of Exhibit 17 and Section
2.04.6 of the PAP.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(C) A brief description of local mining experience concerning subsidence
occurrence, if any;
The application is in compliance with this rule. Experience at the Bowie #1 mine are related on
(revised) page 2.05-108, 2.05-111 and 2.05-112 of the PAP.
