Page 10
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(D) A detailed description of subsidence related phenomena predicted to
occur within the permit and adjacent area;
The application is in compliance with this rule. See revised pages 2.05-104 through 2.05-107.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(E) The angle-of-draw predicted to be characteristic of the permit and
adjacent area; and
The application is in compliance with this rule. An angle of draw of 25 degrees is identified on
page 2.05-111. A discussion of the angle of draw is found on pages 9 and 10 of Appendix 15,
with an angle of draw of 25 degrees adopted for mine planning.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(F) Appropriate maps, prepared according to the standards of Section 2. 10,
showing:
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(F)(I) Any existing subsidence features which exist within the permit and
adjacent area;
Some existing subsidence features are identified in the text and are shown on Map 27B.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(F)(II) The extent of the proposed mine workings;
The application is in compliance with this rule. The extent of mine workings is shown on Map27.
A disclaimer of Panel 13 as not part of the current mine plan would clarify the portrayal of
such on Figure 1, page 4 of Exhibit 17.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(F)(III) The ground surface areal extent of an area determined by the
projection of the angle-of-draw, ifpredicted pursuant to Section 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(E) or 45 ; if no
prediction is made by the applicant, from the limits of the proposed mine workings to the ground
surface; and
The application is in compliance with this rule. The areal extent is shown on Map 27. As
identified above, an angle of 25 degrees is used.
Rule 2.05.6(6)(e)(i)(F)(IV) The areal extent of predicted subsidence related phenomena within
the permit and adjacent area.
The PAP is in compliance with this rule. Seismic activity, as it relates to the Bruce Park Dam, is
considered. A Geotechnical Data Report Bruce Park Dam of April 2001, an Addendum to
Geotechnical Data Report Bruce Park Dam, July 2002, and a Geotechnical Evaluation of Mine-
Induced Seismicity on Bruce Park Dam were submitted as part of the application. A conclusion
of this last report is that the Bruce Park Dam and Bruce Park Saddle Dam should not be
adversely impacted from mine-induced seismicity generated from long wall mining at the Bowie
