STORMWATER MANAGEML PLAN 2/20/09 <br />Maryland Creek Ranch <br />MATERIAL MANAGEMENT PRACTICES <br />(SWMP TRAINING) <br />1. All material stockpiles which could potentially pollute stormwater with sediment are graded. <br />2. Topsoil and overburden stockpiles are graded and revegetated. <br />3. Materials which could potentially pollute stormwater are: <br />a. stored in enclosed containers <br />b. bermed or kept indoors <br />c. kept on impervious surfaces <br />These materials include: fuels, lubricating fluids, concrete and asphalt add-mixes <br />4. Berms will be of sufficient size to contain the contents of the tank, should a leak or spill <br />occur. <br />5. Fueling of equipment is monitored to prevent accidental overfills and spills. <br />6. Maintenance of mobile equipment will be conducted within the shop/storage trailer, or in the <br />mobile Equipment Storage Area, which will be located within the pit. <br />7. All mobile equipment is inspected daily for leaks or spills. Any indications of such will be <br />promptly contained and repaired as soon as possible. <br />8. Trash is removed from the site on a regular basis. Trash receptacles are located near the <br />shop and batch plant. <br />13
